Ashly 3.6sp VS. BSS minidrive 336T
« on: July 19, 2011, 12:02:14 PM »

I have a BSS Omnidrive 366 for my main rig but I am building a smaller secondary system and thought about using a minidrive but a friend recommended the Ashly 3.6 prcessor instead. The price range is of the Ashly is very attractive if it delivers a great sounding system. I dont expect it to perfrom as well as the Omnidrive but I dont need it to for the secondary system. Does anyone have some experience with the Ashly processors?

I have used many Ashly processors over the years and have never been disappointed. They sound great, work great, the software is easy and intuitive.

Go ahead and use the Ashly.

I have not seen the DC-One until now. How does it compare to the Ashley?

I would also recommend the Ashly.  Everything Ashly I've used has always sounded great, plus it gives you the 3rd input for flexibility of running your subs separate from the mains.

I haven"y used Ashly. Always heard that it was a good unit. We have been using the dc-one. I personally like the ease of computer setup. Haven"t done that with any ashley xovers/dsp units.
