Any thoughts on Samson Airline Synth?
« on: July 10, 2011, 11:40:40 PM »

Years ago I had decent luck with the old Samson Concert II and IV systems and a more recent UHF system I can't remember the name of (it was a 1U rack receiver with BNC antennas on the front)

More recently I've had decent luck with a Samson compressor/de-esser which certainly isn't a DBX DDP but it does seem worlds better than Behringer.

So, for occasional drama use would it be a mistake to consider the Samson Airline UHF systems? I would just rent something better but unfortunately much of the use is spur-of-the-moment.

These systems MAP about $400 complete.
