Well, what I ended up doing was buying another pair of EAW LA212, which I found used. For the gig last weekend, I had two separate areas which each had 4 speakers on their own amp channels and with their own processing. Ultimately I was glad to only have speaker cable to run, as some of my runs approached 200' and there was no AC anywhere.
The results were very good; the officiant was clearly heard across all seating areas. I ended up bailing out of the wireless lav I have been planning on in favor of a Beyer M88 on a stand. Sound quality trumped the visual, as we were outside and it was very windy. The M88 did great in the wind; the lav sounded like a storm was raging.
