Got one of these last week, lucky one as they are in demand as Turbo told me there is only a limited few coming into the UK. Started with a pair of the M15 tops and was blown away by the depth, clarity and im an old bugger so they ticked the box of them being light!

I got the M18 from DV as they seemed the only guys who had them, had also looked at the Ksub but didnt go low enough for me and also the RCF 7 series but for the same money I opted for the Turbo. It is an 18'' so not a small box, but then again no 18's are small. 1000w RMS so pleanty of omph and they have the standard high pass out puts and throughs etc. all in all im happy, if you wana hear one a company called SCV is distributing them for Turbo and I had spoke to a nice chap called Rubin, details and that on the web.

good luck with the search and if your lucky you may find one!

Thanks for the info, sounds interesting.   I'm based in an isolated town in little old New Zealand so getting see or hear anything gear wise is a major mission  ( the NZ supplier of Turbo products is based in a city at the other end of the country to me).
Please chip in again with some more info once you have used them a few more times

Cheers

Actually Mack I do have another question that I hope you may be able to answer.
The online info is a bit thin, does the manual that came with the sub (I assume it comes with one) happen to mention what filter and the slope is in the DSP for the LPF and what the approx current draw on a 240v supply is????

Thanks

Jonathan

(edit for ANOTHER question)

Good question, I never actually stopped to think that they might not actually be made by Turbo in the UK.

Thanks for the link, unfortunately it does not answer the questions that I had  :(   I have emailed Turbo directly and they did answer some of the questions, but not the one re LPF.

Hi Jonathan,
Looks like I missed the slope question on your original email. Both of the selectable LPFs on the unit are 24dB LR.

Iain, our manufacturing is both in the UK and China - the M18s are made in China.

Let me know if you have any more questions either here, or at [email protected]

Hey, thanks for that  :).  I thought maybe the dsp settings were a "Turbo Secret" and that was why you could not answer the question.

Cheers

Have a pair of M15 and M18.  M15 are amazing looking at the specs I did not think that kind of sound would come out the speaker.  Most of the time the -6db green light does no even come on.  But I am a little  :'( with the m18. You can hear all of the eq range of the speaker but for a 18' 1,000 watt speaker it does not thump.

All in all it's a great portable plug and play. Way better then anyone else in this class.

In the end after weighing a few different options up, I went with JBL SRX718s subs.
