So I was looking around for an install and I regularly see in ceiling speakers without mounts/back cans on them.  For example: http://www.eaw.com/products/L8CX2XO.html

How do I find a mount/back can that will work in a plenum space?  Most of the empty mounts I find are for specific models.

Atlas, Lowell, and several more companies have back-cans and more stuff.

Google "speaker back can" for a start.

That's just a bare speaker. You are going to need a ceiling baffel (grill) and an enclosure or back can. I would recommend Atlas also but I would first contact EAW to see which they recommend since the internal volume of the enclosure will affect the frequency response. After that contact Atlas for mounting/support options. They will be dependent on the weight and type of ceiling. You don't want to just cut a hole in a ceiling tile and mount the baffel and back can with the four baffel screws through the ceiling tile no matter how light the speaker is.
