I was quite shocked with the output and sonic quality this rig had, and the way it's setup.

So the real questions are:
How did the sound compare to a large I5+I5B (line array) rig?
Could you hear comb filtering or other non-uniform coverage issues?

Just thought I would ask...

Have you heard I5 ?

The grills are white so the arrays can be used as screens. See youtube footage of their tour if you want to see how this works.

As for sound quality, they sound superb. And the mix for the Crue yesterday was infinitely better than the mix for U2 the night before.

Saw this show recently.. The engineer for MC was amazing.. I felt like I was back in the early 90's with all the great PS rigs out there.. I'm stuck in liking rigs like the old Prism, Sound Image's G5, 860/750 rigs..

Is it possible PS rigs are making a come back?

It's the new Vision system.
