Phantom power and bouble patching
« on: June 23, 2011, 11:19:29 AM »

I was working a show last night, and I double patched the vocals (one strip mains, one mons), and got to thinking.  What if I had to phantom power one of the vocal mics?  Phantom would be sent into the "mon" chan strip xlr.  Would any damage occur from this?

good to know, thanks.

Sending Phantom to double patching will not harm anything...but, bouble patching will.... ;)
