Chris dePaola:
So we currently off open air cinema services and often find ourselves playing 2-4 hours of music at events of a couple hundred to a thousand plus.

We've been doing this just with an iPod and a pre-done playlist.  I'd like to step up to something more professional and that we can offer as an actual service. I don't want to get crazy, been looking at the Pioneer mep-7000. Looks like a nice mixer with lots of options and will do karaoke as well.

Interested in other thoughts, advice, reviews, or recommendations, thanks!

I have one of the Pioneer MEP - 7000 units and use it in conjunction with Traktor Pro DJ Software.  It is a great unit!

Get a Denon HD-2500 and a Pioneer DJM3000, a great combo for a lot less
