Soundcraft gb8 question?
« on: June 05, 2011, 04:04:45 PM »

Is the gb8 board like a A+H with individual channel cards?, or is one big single board inside?

Thanks

Google is your friend.
First hit from "soundcraft gb8" turns up the following:
"Both the GB4 and GB8 desks carry the high quality hallmark with which Soundcraft is synonymous, with engineering and design, as you’d expect from this high-end manufacturer. Careful attention has been given to the mechanical construction, to ensure reliability under strenuous conditions, with all input modules being constructed with individual vertically-mounted pcb’s, fitted to the steel chassis front panel with individually-nutted potentiometers. I’ve had some reliability issues with the internal power supply. The switching N channel MOSFET and 14 pin PW modulator I.C (UCC35702N) failed on me twice. Be very careful about your power source.
