Kenny Chesney at Dallas Stadium
« on: May 31, 2011, 01:22:15 PM »

Here is a pretty amazing article about the Chesney tour stop in Dallas Cowboy's Stadium on EV's website.

http://www.electrovoice.com/pressrelease.php?id=1258

Stu Schatz from EV has a very interesting study about it that is worth reading . He discusses the enormous challeges that a room with 87 million cubic feet of air and a reverb time at 60Hz of 11 seconds can be over come. Check it out.

Thanks for posting this.  Being  the house engineer at a stadium, I found it very interesting reading.

That was a fun read. A good follow-up article would be to describe how they tackle the inherent issues in a stadium that does NOT have an existing array to supplement from.
