I am looking to purchase a new pair of 12" + horns for a B rig and have a budget of $400 per box.  I was originally looking at a pair of Yamaha C112V but then I saw the new EV live X series and wanted to know if anyone had heard them.  The boxes will be powered off a peavey ipr3000.  The boxes will be used mostly for acoustic gigs and small bands, 50-200 people, and occasionally rented out to a wedding DJ as cocktail speakers.  Any thoughts?
