Wow!

Extension Cord Distro?

I don't know whether or not to laugh or be appalled.

If you think about it, in the end, Socapex would have been cheaper than 5 miles of 16g extension cord.

I once came across a small town high school auditorium that had a similar system, but with the dimmer circuits on edison receptacles, and the circuits going out into the house on edison receptacles.  They had a milk crate full of male to male edison patch cables to patch circuits to dimmers  :o  Some of them were even 2 prong :-/  I can only think of 3 or 4 modes of catastrophic failure.
