 I'm going to spend about $3-4K and I don't mind used stuff. Going to be doing my solo act and small ROCK bands in clubs with a capacity of up to 250 or so. I've used Mackie SRM-450's and the SWA-1501 Subs (2 each per side) and was quite pleased with them. Mics, cables, snakes and monitors I've got. So I'm really just looking for a mixer and mains. I can find used SRM-450v2's all day for $400. But when I looked at them, if memory serves, they seem lighter than the old SRM-450's. I'm considering actives for convenience but I'm open to suggestions.
  BTW, my rock band is a few old deaf guys who play LOUD. And I'll be mixing my daughter's NuRock band too. I can tell them to turn down their stage volume and they'll listen to me.
 I've got a Mackie 1202 for my solo act so I'd like a 16 channel console for the bands. I've been considering an O1v or the Presonus digital console, but that's $2K. Might be out of the budget.
 I'd like to hear some suggestions.

If you want to go digital you could get an Yamaha 03D or an original 01V with a ADA8000, that would come in under $1000. Both boards are older but still reliable.

Very happy with my used original 01v with an Alesis ADAT EQ for monitors. Great upgrade from the Mackie (had a 1202, 1402, then a 1642) and you'll like having parametric EQ, dynamics and effects for every channel.

 I'd like some opinions on Speakers too. I'm looking at G.C. brands, specifically Mackie SRM450v2's vs. Yamaha DSR112's.
 And accompanying Subs as well. I'm looking for bang for the buck. They don't have to be actives.
