The tunings are on their website @ http://www.jblpro.com/catalog/general/Product.aspx?PId=117&MId=3  Click on tunings on the left hand side.

Go look at those tunings.
The passive ones just show low pass hi pass settings.
No horn honk adjustments.

The SRX are good speakers but they need more than what is shown on the link you referenced.

OK, so here's what's happening. Using the information from JBLs site published for the 260, because I own one of those and know how it should react, plus what's published for the 4800 I've come up with some tunings that are working fairly well. I've tweeked the settings I provided above just a bit and if anyone has a 480 I would like to send the file to you if you would be willing to check.

The routing is (if I remember correctly);

1/2 in, 31 band EQ, nothing, delay 2x4 crossover. Center frequency 92.5hz, low pass at 35 hz, high pass at 84.5hz. Out to 1,2,3,4 (725s over subs)

3 in, PEQ, nothing, dual wire, Out to 5 and 6 (vocals) 725s, high pass at 45hz, no subs.

3 in, PEQ, nothing, dual wire, Out to 5 and 6

Very little EQ and all inputs set to -3db.

And by the way, my brandy dandy APB Pro House rack is amazing, but more on that later in another thread.

I have been in touch with DBX and they have nothing. They recommended I call JBL, and I will. At least I have the email and phone number for someone willing to work with me.

And did I say my new APB 1020 is the balls?  :D

Bit of a hijack here:

Might anyone have cooked up iTech 4000/8000 tunings for 722/728?  Gonna call JBL, but I have my doubts.  Has anyone looked at how close (or not) DR4800 settings are when used in an iTech?
