GB2 Aux Jumpers
« on: May 17, 2011, 06:31:33 PM »

Somehow I ended up owning a Soundcraft GB2R-16. The mixer sounds great, but as some of you already know, the Aux sends are rather useless in the factory settings of Post EQ. In any of the Mixwizards that I've owned through the years, it's been very easy to re-jumper the and re-configure the Aux's on the mono input cards...as A & H very clearly describes in the owner's manual. HOWEVER, in the case of the GB2, it appears that's NOT the case. Soundcraft indicates in the user manual that it is possible and here's their statement...

* Note: there is a dealer-implemented option to connect aux 1 and 2
feeds as pre-eq pre fade. This would also affect aux 3 and 4 when
they are selected as pre-fade.
Aux 5 and 6 may be connected to follow aux3/aux4 pre/post routing.
The warranty is voided if these options are implemented by anyone
other than an Authorized Soundcraft Dealer.

I am an authorized Soundcraft Dealer & cannot get the jumper information from Soundcraft, you'd think they were giving away national secrets.
Can anyone help me out with the 4 jumper settings to re-configure the Aux outputs?

Thanks,
DH
