Keith, The keyboard gives off a bit of a hum when it is plugged in.  I have not had a chance (and when I did, I forgot to check) the line out but since we get that hum, I figure a DI box can't hurt.   Thanks for all the advice and help everyone! Dave

It's probably a ground loop, in which case the DI will give you an easy-to-set ground lift switch. If there's any way to move the keys' power to the same outlet or breaker circuit as the mixers', that may also solve the problem.
