Syncing Digi 002 with video mixing console? How to?
« on: December 15, 2007, 07:56:08 AM »

Hey all,
We are bring in some new equipment for a Xmass special. I would like to mix the audio post with a Digi 002 10 tracks.     We are bring in a small video mixer and a 3 camera setup.  Has anyone locked a SMPTE to a digi002? is it as simple a hooking up a bnc to the video board from the digi002 and going into the setups menu's in PT?  If so what in those menu's?
Thanks

You will need to use Midi Time Code....

What version of protools are you running?

Does your lighting console have a MIDI out? If not you will need to get a smpte to midi converter. An older Universal Slave Driver will do the trick nicley.
