Do you use Easyworship? Maybe you can help!
« on: September 13, 2007, 03:44:11 am »

Hi there, recently I purchased and installed Easyworship in our Church.  It runs well, however, I have one question..

I have 3 databases that people have copied and given to me.  How do I merge these databases that I was given, without deleting the existing songs?  I run XP and Easyworship 07. Thanks.

Open Easy Worship with one of databases.  Add all the songs from that database to a schedule and save it.  Do the same for all the databases.  Then create a new database and open each of the schedules.  It will ask you if you want to add the songs to the database.

You can also ask your question on the Easy Worship forum.

Thanks for those comments.
However, In order for me to understand, you'll have to expand on the point that you've made... sorry for being so stupid!  PS: The files that people gave me were put onto CD. They are more like individual.. song keys etc.. How do I get these into my list of songs in EW?  Thanks. G

If they aren't EasyWorship files, then you have to create a new song, enter the song information and then type in the song lyrics.  The only automated import I know of is using the CCLI song select service, which in my opinion is a very a good value.

As I said before you should check the EasyWorship forum.  They are fairly responsive there.
