I couldn't agree more with a pre-eq approach for all the reasons stated - and then some.

They only line up in flat view. In tree view, where you can see where the different trains of thought split off, they don't line up, and don't refer back to the correct post, which is why I can't figure out what you are referring to. If you use the quote button at the bottom of the screen you can edit out the part you don't want to respond to, and the quote will have attribution. Just be sure to leave square brackets.

Oh, my! Hadn't used Tree View so wasn't aware of the discrepancy. And I love trees!  Very Happy  Got one in my living room right now!
