Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum.  I’ve been reading and trying to implement everything I learned for the past year and it finally all paid off.
This past weekend we took 100 MS/HS students and our student band to a youth retreat.  We started out with the following available from our youth room for SR.

(2)   JBL SRX 4718 subs
(2)   JBL SF15 tops
(1)     QSC 1450
Various underpowered amps relegated to monitor work

I borrowed the rest from my kid’s band…

(2)   QSC 1850
(1)   Crown XLS 602
(2)   Behringer B1520’s
PMH 2000 linked to PMH 3000 to get 16 channels
DBX266’s on 4 vocal mics
DBX234 crossed at 80hz

Bridged the 1850’s to a JBL/Behringer on each side, and bridged the 602 and 1450 respectively  to each sub.
Mic’s on the kick, snare, toms and hats, DI'ed two acoustics, two electrics, bass and keyboard.
Subgrouped the four vocal mics into the FX channel of the PMH3000 for easier control and a little delay and echo to taste.
All this in a 2500 sq ft room with 10 foot ceilings.
The result… INCREDIBLE…There was plenty of thump from the subs to make the kids happy, and the 1850’s weren’t even breathing hard.

Thanks again, to everybody who contributes or asks questions… It really makes a difference.
