Yamaha DSR112 Rain Covers
Dan Whitney:
I'm looking for a solution to help protect the speakers (woofer included) for light rain / drizzle conditions. Are there any aftermarket covers for these situations? For the record I have no intention of running them in a downpour but would like to keep the boxes dry as much as possible.
One thought was to cut out some stiff foam rubber flooring and attach to the top of the boxes like the brim of a baseball cap. It would probably look a little funny but it could work.
Bob Stone:
Nothing like the QSC outdoor covers exist for the Yamaha's? Heck, would a QSC K12.2 outdoor cover fit?

My cheap-ass Yammy DBR 12s came with weather covers. You might check the model sizes and see if the DBR covers will fit.
Rob Timmerman:
I'd take a look at the Undercover NYC FS/W series covers. I've used them on a few different occasions on a variety of speakers with no issues.

The Yamaha covers are superb for exactly the conditions you describe. I have the for my DSR's DZR's and DXF's. They have fancy zip down fronts. I wish they were a little tighter. May be hard to find now that speaker is discontinued. I would check with Mike Pyle. Make sure you don't get the dust covers.
