Anyone use a Galaxy Audio ESM8-UBG?

I have a customer with this mic on a Shure BLX system. They're having problems with distorted audio.  I haven't gotten my hands on it yet to check gain settings, but wondering if anyone has experience with this mic at all.

I had to lookup what kind of mic that is and I see that it is an ear worn mic. Some of those kinds of mics are very hot and if the bodypack transmitter isn’t capable of padding down the input they will very easily distort. Have you tried turning down the gain control in the transmitter. On some cheap wireless mics the gain control may not reduce the input sensitivity enough and if it can’t then that mic and transmitter combination will not work properly. Some of those kinds of mics are available in a reduced sensitivity version and that would probably be what you need if it is available and you can’t trim down the input on the transmitter enough to not distort.
