You don't "bless the wedges"?? - trick I learned from Rita MacNeal FOH from her CBC TV days ...

He couldn't "touch" anything as it was a full union gig, but would always go out and "bless the wedges" (waving the mic pointed at them) before soundchecks and tapings since Rita immediately drops her arm whenever she isn't singing, or talking/hosting....Was the only piece of gear he was "allowed" to touch (Rita's mic) in the studio.
