I am trying to figure out if my old unit is malfunctioning or if I am.
Documentation on these is pretty limited.
I recently tried to re-program some scenes.  SHOULD the previous scene delete (out right) or is the new info just added?   
I am controlling fog machines.  They are responding as if the old data is retained.  The controller "flashes" to acknowledge the scene save, but the scene seems to revert back to the previous.
I found the process to factory reset the controller, but am fearful that it will not accept any new programming.  I can live with the old scenes, just wanted to change things for the better.

If you bricked it what would you be out.. $100?

Is there a proceedure to erase/delete a scene?  If so try that first before a factory reset because even on brand name controllers a scene edit doesn't overwrite everything in the scene just the specific data being changed.
