Behry made a million X32s (rumoured to be closer to 2).  It paid for a nice sized slice of Behringer City at the time.  I think Uli made enough money on it to pay for a functional, automated ticket system and back end support system.  I'm don't expect the level of support I got from Avid when buying flagship products.  I just want to open a warranty ticket or find out where to send out of warranty items for service, and that's far, far away from having a 24/7 technician phone response like Avid, Yamaha, Midas high end, DigiCo, SSL.

IIRC B had a very generous warranty when the x32 was first introduced, largely to allay fears of the mixer falling apart in a month. I can't get the product page to load [which is ironic I suppose] but I think they still offer several years of warranty support. However there is no ACTUAL support from the company whether in or out of warranty. It's a fundamental breaking of the contract between buyer and seller and it's really quite infuriating and I don't even own an X32

side note: remember when Uli would actually post on these forums during the X32 rollout? Guess the well has been fully tapped so there's no point in showing up to the drill site any longer

We got a soundcraft UI24r a couple years ago and really like it. We run it with an external router and never have had issues.

3 months from the date I opened a ticket on a dead DL32 (which had been purchased literally weeks prior) until somebody at MG finally saw fit to direct me back to the dealer for support.

The dealer, for all their effort, was unable to secure repair parts and after another 6 months of waiting I requested my money back (in store credit), sold the M32 and switched to A&H SQ.

I bet I would still be waiting for parts had I stuck it out.

I don't recall on the B products, but do remember when they extended the M32 warranty to 10 years. That swayed a lot of installations in their favor.

Of course, if parts are non-existent, even a "lifetime" warranty is of little use.

I have been fortunate that nothing has ever gone wrong with my X32 Rack.  Good to know though.  Hopefully if the day ever comes that my X32 Rack fails, there will be a rack SQ I can replace it with .

That has never bothered me TBH but would be nice. I've just enjoyed every single A&H mixer I've ever owned going back many years. I really enjoy the compact size of the QU PAC and I'd love an SQ version. My SQ6 is just too big and awkward for some smaller clubs just like my QU16 - where as the QU PAC is perfect in these smaller stage areas provided and stacks nicely. I tend to mix on my iPad these days and have become very comfortable doing so. When I switched to the QU PAC from my QU16 in these smaller clubs a few years ago, it made such a different to me. I only own 4 A&H mixers so I probably need another one!!

A&H provides an offline editor for the SQ, correct?  I could whine and moan about marketing and support decisions made by A&H, but the bottom line is the QU-Pac continues to serve me well, as has the QU16 and MixWiz that preceded it.  I'm always wanting two scoops of ice cream while paying for one...
