What EXACTLY is your signal flow.  List every piece of equipment no matter how small between the computer and projector.   If something isn’t built into the computer or projector it should be listed.  Be specific on what output port you’re using on the computer and what input port you’re using on the projector.  Which (exact) version of pro-presenter are you using?

When you say you unplugged from the iMac and plugged into another computer be specific on what was unplugged.  Macs these days often require an adapter to get to the video format used by the projector so I’m wanting to know if ALL the pieces used for the iMac were also used with the second computer or if some were changed.

Exact signal flow is:  Projector - HDMI cable - FSR HD-H70-SP-Tx Transmitter - Ethernet cable - to another FSR transmitter (see image below) - HMDI cable - Adapter to USB-C - Into the iMac via USB C cable.

All of this EXACT same cabling connects fine to another random laptop.  We literally unplugged the USB C and plugged it into the laptop and the laptop connected fine to the projector/screen.

Do you have another monitor that you can plug the HDMI cable into?  This would tell you if the iMac is capable of detecting a display through the HDMI cable. Helps split down where the problem is.

Also, it looks like you're running Ventura.  That's added a few extra twists.  External devices connected need to be 'approved' the first time they are used.  13.1 had some issues where it just ignored devices. Make sure you update to the latest OS, 13.2.1.  You can then check in the Privacy and security settings under Security to always allow accessories to connect.

They also have hidden the 'detect displays' option.  In the displays setting window that you've shown, hold down the option key and the detect displays button should appear.  Click that and see if it finds it then.

If none of that works, downgrading to Montery might be a solution as well.
