How to properly measure subs?

REW definitely does have windowing controls, I think they're under "Impulse Response" https://www.roomeqwizard.com/help/help_en-GB/html/impulseresponse.html

Ah, thanks David. I think I searched for "gating" before. I'll try to digest the information in the help file you shared and see if it applies to any of my use cases.
