I miss those JBL Cabaret cabinets.  When I got started in sound (in the early-mid 80's), a band that I regularly watched used all Cabaret cabinets (subs, mids, highs), all powered with Carver PM (1.5??) amps (with a Yamaha FOH console).  The sound was phenomenal...
