PTZCam has a unit that solves the SDI portion of the equation.

Aside from that, an AJA IO4K Plus would work, but it’s Thunderbolt vs USB.

I can’t find any documentation on it; does anybody know if it’s an actual display converter, or a DisplayLink or similar “fake” display that requires a driver? The USB 3.0 B connector strongly suggests the latter, in which case I absolutely would not recommend using this in a production environment. Those drivers are notoriously flakey, and rather CPU intensive.

I had missed that you were also looking to get audio out.  Forget getting the audio off of the video output.  Just grab a USB DI (Peavey, Radial, etc) and route your audio out that.  There's no reason you need to monkey around trying to get the audio off of the video output, that's just unnecessarily complicated.

I have Radial USB Pro on the way. I am specifically trying to eliminate HDMI from the video equation, as I keep having problems with the non-locking connectors working their way loose at inopportune times. Someone bumps a laptop and the signal goes out, it's not a good look

You'll potentially have this problem with any cable going into a laptop.  I fix it with gaff tape.

This is for small corpy stuff so media servers aren't really in the budget and we are getting media delivered last moment, generally.
