Does anyone know of an option for a wireless hand held non-latching push to talk button? The only thing I've seen is for Shure ADX, but that's a bit too expensive for my needs. I have Shure AD2s, but not the ADX2s.
I looked at the Sennheiser EW100, but I don't think that mute button can be configured this way.
There could be a third party adapter that screws on between the transmitter body and the capsule, but I've not seen one.

I think the cheapest (major brand) solution is probably going to be the Sennheiser e835-S-PTT and a plug-on transmitter. Not quite as slick as an all-in-one unit, but easy to implement and relatively inexpensive (assuming you already own the plug-on transmitter, anyway).

I've used that exact "butt-plug" setup before on corporate talking head gigs, and they work fine...but aren't very pretty.

Sennheiser XS series have a slick integrated system, but it sounds like the OP runs a Shure house.

Shure Axient Digital, and the older UHF-R systems have butt-plugs available.

The problem with the above setups is that the switches are latching...and the OP specified non-latching.

I can't think of any microphone with a momentary switch that isn't for a paging system or similar.

The button on the transmitter can be configured in five modes:
RF on/off
AF on/off
Push to talk
Push to mute
Disabled

I'm pretty sure the push to talk is latching though, which is not what the OP wanted.

I´m trying not to be wrong, that´s why I waited with my response until I could try

BTW a latching Push to talk would be the same as AF on/off, kind of redundant

I use the radial relay xo with a momentary footswitch.  Works great

The little Sennheiser ENG wireless will work with the specified PTT mic, the whole radio is built in the XLR.

+1; the SKM 300 (and only the 300) has this feature in the current G4 version as well.
