AES SF section picnic Golden Gate Park this Sunday

I was curious to see how they described this event, so that we could copy it sometime, and looked at both the Section website and as much of the SF Section's Facebook page as a non-Facebook-member can see, and saw nothing about a picnic. How did you find out about it? If that's not being too nosy.

Not nosy at all. They sent out an email about 2 weeks ago announcing it. To be clear, it’s also the (mothership sanctioned) annual meeting. I think this is how they get around the AES rule that the sections can’t put on purely social events – there has to be some technical or administrative content. For me, I hope it’s a chance to see a few folks whom I haven’t since pre-pandemic. And I will take a camera.
