Anyone know what the Jan 6 committee is using for mics?  This is the first time I have heard goosenecks at congress that weren't  popping like crazy.

Thanks

Riley Casey:
Congress has used Shure MX412 / 418s or something in the line for years. I suspect its the added 'Covid shower caps " that are making the difference on P popping.

Scott Helmke:
Apparently a QSC Q-Sys product.

There's only 1 Q-Sys mic at this time and it's not a gooseneck.  Wouldn't be surprised if it's processed through Q-Sys though.

Caleb Dueck:
Podium mic?  I suspect some sort of tactile transducer, to pick up the footsteps.
Lectern mic?  No idea.
