18sound 18nd9300

(1/1)

Helge A Bentsen:
I dismantled 2 subs I bought used and discovered that they were loaded with 18sound 18nd9300 drivers, originally these had RCF L18-P200N.

Not too much info about 18nd9300 available, didn't even show up on the 18sound website, but found a .pdf using google.
Any experience with these drivers?
WinISD tells me they should have about the same performance as the replacement drivers I've decided upon (and loaded into the first four subs, bought 12 subs a while back).

Uwe Riemer2:
In the same enclosure/tuning the TBX will go a little bit lower
Max SPL will be similar
Soundwise the ND is very clean, the TBX is kind of a rough guy
Cone feels more sturdy on the TBX
Litz wire design of ND is better

I own eight of the NDīs in pretty good shape and am willing to sell them as a package, if you are intested

Thanks.

Any idea how they compare to 18LW1400?

Uwe Riemer2:
Never compared the LW1400 to the other drivers,
and ATM have no time to change this
