I just sent another email to myself and this time the From header was the webmaster, so that's a fix. But I still think something might be wrong, the email form specifically states the recipient will see your (the site user) email address, but now it appears to be the webmaster, and this may work differently for other users.

Maybe this part of the current thread could be moved to a bug tracking thread?
So, since the change noted above, on my iPhone a message comes in as "from ProSoundWeb Community". In Outlook, I still see forums.prosoundweb.com #STA853 <[email protected]> and then the "webmaster at..." Did I mention how much I love Outlook? >:(

Well all of those could be true.

Anyway after sending a couple emails back and forth with Ernie it looks like the email comes from webmaster but the "reply-to" header is populated with the forum user that sent the email's address, so that should be working.
