Channel EQ's not affecting CD
« on: April 05, 2011, 01:55:46 PM »

hi,

i'm running the second cd player for playback into ch.7, which is a stereo channel, via two 1/4" jacks on mackie's 808-s powered mixer. ( pdf manual: www.mackie.com/pdf/ppm_om.pdf ) the issue is that the channel eq's do not affect the playing cd audio at all. this seems weird to me. i looked at page 33 with the wiring schematic, but maybe i just don't know how to read a wiring schematic.

thanks,
shad

Which outputs are you listening too? Is your power amp routing switch pushed in? With that switch in the right output becomes a monitor feed which has no eq.
