Adamson Y10 wiring questions

I have a couple Adamson Y10 subwoofers. I need help understand why there are wiring that way.
its a double 18" subwoofer: please see image below
600 W- 1200 w max, 35-200 Hz,
Minimum: 35 Hz
Maximum: 200 Hz
Bandwidth options: +/- 3dB
Sensitivity: 103.6 dBA
Sensitivity measurement parameters dB / 2.83 V / m
Maximum sound pressure 129 dB SPL
Acoustic: radiation monopolar
Type of emitters: dynamic
Acoustic: design closed type
Resistance 4 ohm
