QL Editor extract and then return a single scene
« on: August 08, 2021, 07:39:16 PM »

I need to extract an existing scene from a QL1 library, send it out to an A1 for review and tinkering, then put it back.  I knew how to do this with two instances of the LS9 Editor and Studio Manager, but a fruitless PSW and internet search has come up empty. Clarification welcomed.

Is there a reason you can't just send the console file and identify the scene of interest to the A1?

I only know the MacOS version: In the QL editor open the Scene Memory window. Find the scene you want in the right side of the window, and click+drag it to the left side. Close that editor file, and open a new 'clean' one. The file you moved to the left will still be there on the left side. Drag it to the right side of the window and Save As a new editor file. Only the file you moved (and the Initial Data file) will be there.
