PA stack ID
« on: July 24, 2021, 11:15:51 AM »

So, free box of mostly uneaten fig newtons to the first person that ID this rig that is currently in use in my venue.

Extra sleeve for the amp rack ID.

Amps look like Crown iTechs.  Rat fur amp racks scream 1980's though.

And the fan and tarp are nice touches.

The rat fur racks look like StageGear.  When we bought our first batch of Vertec from Schubert Systems, Dirk included the Stagegear racks with the iTechs.  I liked them and convinced my boss to pay the $$ to standardize on them for main PA racks.  Good stuff.

I get covering the logos but what's with the partial tape over the input panels on the subs? Covid protection perhaps?  ;)

The subs are L-Acoustic SB218, the field foldback is D-VDOSC, not sure about the mains although they look familiar...

Okay, this is good enough for several Newtons. I think chances of anyone identifying the mains are low mostly because I couldn't post any good pics without giving it away, so I've gone ahead and posted said spoiler pics.

BTW, this is the only visible logo I've seen in the entire stadium, which given the location makes a little bit of sense....

If I recall correctly, Panasonic has an exclusive partnership with the Olympics. They market RAMSA as a prominent audio supplier to the games even though I haven't seen their product outside of Japan in years. That probably explains the aggressive logo covers, including the input panels behind the SB28s.

I think I saw one of RAMSA subwoofers highly resemble a product offering from EV, so I'm not sure how much of their line is developed in house.
