Shirts - what do you use?
« on: July 21, 2021, 02:01:16 pm »

What is everyone using for crew shirts?  I am looking for a durable moisture wicking, quick drying shirt.

Budget?

Wicking and quick drying will not cheap, even before a logo.

Some of the wicking stuff is unsafe around fire.

We use mostly Port Authority for "production" shirts (shirts with collars).

I ordered a Gilden Dryblend 8000 and Jerzees Drip-Power 50/50 to check out.

Eddie Bauer Long Sleeve Performance Fishing Shirt I prefer the brown or gray.
They have a zipper pocket on the left and plenty of room in each pocket great shirts almost impossible to stain.
I know it says "fishing shirt" but these are super lightweight and wick sweat and dry very quickly and look professional untucked .  I just roll up the sleeves in the summer they have a button strap to hold the cuff up very comfortable and very durable.
I don't like the jersey shirts they're hot, they stretch out and look floppy, stain easily and the collars wonky quickly.

Another vote for Queensboro Shirt.  I have been using them for close to 20 years.  Good product selection, good prices.  Their work is excellent and they have always delivered faster that their estimate.  I generally order their house brand for basic cotton stuff and Port Authority UV/Dry Zone Mesh for quick dry stuff.
