After the comment I got from Geert I choose not to say anything as I am sure that Steve Mason was proud of that work.  Not every single picture needs to be turned into a teachable moment.

Never seemed to be a problem for Clair and ... every other major and minor touring sound contractor since the 1970s but hey there is always something new to learn.

For the acronym-impaired, CFG = Comb Filter Generator.

Carry on.

People tend to not hear the things they cannot fix.  That said, I don't recall flat packs of S4 or R2, although sometimes splay was only 20 or so.  Pre S4 was before my time...

Not to mention the clubs.  DJ oriented dance clubs generally surround the dance floor with CFG's.  That's how it's done.

When somebody wakes up in the morning hating the fact they're alive and decides to go online and share the misery with the rest of the world there's not much one can do...

I held back on my response (expletives) out of professional courtesy and respect for this site.

Ouch.
I'm sorry Steve and Scott. After reading that other thread I see that my comment on this thread looks tone deaf. And probably was/is.

You're good with me sir.  I took it as chiding and that's something I do all the time.  The other thread, well that's a different story - way out of line with intent.
