I'm sorry. I did intend for a tiny little bit of snark but mostly it was an honest question that I hoped would lead to more discussion.
Example:
Most speakers, even if you splay them, are CFGs when you put them next to each other. To a large extent the only other option (if you want to use all your speakers) is Dual PA. And there are a lot of other gotchas if you go down that path.
Are folks running dual PA much anymore? I don't think I've ever tried it for an actual gig (although I've had a whole lot of gigs where the audience's blend of monitors and mains mimicked it a bit).
Again, sorry if my question came off negative. I'm glad people are excited about setting up and doing shows.
