Is there a best practice how to get the monitor audio (with solo function) to an audio technician mixing Behringer x32 with Mixing Station on an android device? There is no way sending the audio through the app, right?
We got two SD16. Routing the monitor to an XLR out? But then you'll need a headphone amp of some sort at the technician... Would be happy for some insights and ideas here :)

You are right in that audio doesn't pass through to the app.
An option would be to route the MONITOR of the main console to an output and then use something like the Behringer P1 or PM1 for a wired solution or set up a wireless IEM if the tech has to move around.
However, this would affect how the monitor and solo works on the "home" console in that it's now a shared function.
Another option would be to assign an AUX to an output and then sent the channel to that you want to SOLO to that AUX.
If you want to SOLO AUX mixes as well, then send that AUX to a MATRIX output.
A bit less elegant but it would work.

Thanks, great insights there. The P1 or similar would be a cheap and effective solution for us I think.

I've used Audio Fusion. It works pretty well. If you have a computer hooked up to the x32 you can send the card input to the computer to Audio Fusion.

Cheaper than an IEM system.
