Here are a couple of suggestions you may like to check out.  I dont have any of these in my stock, but we do have the 12 RCF TTs and the dB Tech IG4Ts and they sound great.

RCF TT10A MKII  https://www.rcf.it/en_US/products/product-detail/tt-10-a/1001111

Yamaha DZR10  https://au.yamaha.com/en/products/proaudio/speakers/dzr_dxs_xlf/index.html

dB Tech IG3T https://www.dbtechnologies.com/en/products/ingenia/ingenia-ig3t/

dB Tech IG2T https://www.dbtechnologies.com/en/products/ingenia/ingenia-ig2t/

QSC K10.2 https://www.qsc.com/solutions-products/loudspeakers/portable/powered/portable-pa/k2-series/k102/

We have a lot of Adamson -  and these are spectacular, light weight, sound great and go loud, but they really need a sub  and are $$$$
Adamson CS7P https://adamsonsystems.com/product/cs-series/cs7p

This one from Fulcrum I think would fit you needs, its a dual 8" and weights 33 lbs   everything from Fulcrum sounds great, the only issue is that it will need processing, but there are some sensible options.

FWIW the sound quality from Adamson and Fulcrum is a good as Meyer - they are all excellent.  There are a couple of others that are in this league, but the cost of their amplifiers I suspect is prohibitive  in this case.

Thanks to everyone for all of your feedback. It has been unbelievably helpful!!!

I'm thinking seriously about the RCF TT10A. They seem to have everything I want: Great sound, 25 pounds (!!!), plenty of output for a small club and a not super loud band, and they are powered. They are pricey, but I think of that as a health investment: my back will thank me for years to come. :) I can pair them with my THmini subs. Should make a great combination.

Thanks again!

Sounds like a solid, light weight system!

As a guy that used to haul around Altec A-4's, then the Don Keele 18" W horns, today it's lighter pieces and more of them.  Neodymium magnet structure in all the FOH drivers - all passive for the lightest package to wrangle & lift.  I'll eventually transition the monitors over to all neodymium drivers as well in time.

For me first came getting sound out there, then packaging the system for easier transport and logistics.

You will be pleased with what you are doing.  :)
