Good points.  I generally agree, while still appreciating the usefulness of this program and its zero cost.  My tolerance for old and clunky is pretty high for freeware.

FWIW, I tested a couple of more modern online graphing apps, and they could not handle my Signal Hound CSV's containing 95,000+ data points without freezing.  DatPlot processes them in seconds.

I think I should have been clearer: even if it is abandonware (which it may or may not be) it still sounds like a very useful tool!

(My musings about the author releasing its source code were actually based on your praise for it; there's no point in open-sourcing crap.) :)
