IIRC you can run «redundancy on a M32 with two cables.
Plug both A and B in, make a snapshot that only changes routing from AES A to AES B. If A fails, fire the snapshot and you should be up and running on the B cable.

In a way but it would depend on the stage boxes being used. As an example if your going AES50A into a DL16 then out to another DL16 you would have to unplug the damaged cable from the first DL16 and plug the good cable into it. Clunky but it would be better than running another cable on the fly. I think on the DL/S 32 this would work. I believe the B out is redundant on those.?

B is a copy of A without preamp control IIRC.
