Subs on Front back of stage
« on: May 04, 2021, 12:44:03 PM »

What is the thought for cardioid subs for a stage where half the audience is in the front like a regular show and half the audience is on the back of the stage.  Mains are being flown off of each corner of the roof structure to cover the audience

My thought would be to not use cardioid subs. A simple monopole would cover front & back just fine.

If you only have cardioid boxes for some reason, you'll need at least two. Fire them out into the desired coverage area.

The stage is 24'wx20d.   Front side will be 400-700 people and the backside will be about 400 people
