It sounded pretty bad. It started smoking and the voltage dropped a couple of times which caused the mixer to shut down. After a while the generator just gave up and shut down completely.
We had the rental company bring us another one. They were 1 1/2 hours away. Fortunately, we had plenty of time. The replacement was much newer and worked perfectly.
So why didn't we get that one the first time?
I have refused generators in the past. It is your right as a customer.
If I figure it's failure will end up hurting my rep, out she goes.
But then, I am usually in an urban sting, where I can draw from 3 or more suppliers.
First look at one like that, I'm on the phone.....
