Help finding MI plug
« on: July 21, 2020, 12:42:24 PM »

Maybe it's Covid induced hallucinations or some bad clams, but I am positive I read and saw pics of a new style 90* 1/4" TS pancake style patch cable plug. I could have sworn it was by Neutrik, but I went through their site up and down. All I see are the usual barrel style 90*. This one was extremely slim but rectangular or square on the base. Very compact. Similar to the Switchcraft 228. Anyone know what I'm talking about or am I losing it? )
Looking for a customer.

Cheers.

Probably Rean, which is owned by Neutrik but manufactured in China.

Ya, I've tried several different search terms, and nothing comes up resembling what I'm remembering. Might have been in a promotional email from one of my reps. Will have to hunt when I have time
Thanks anyways folks.

Is this for wiring a patchbay, a guitar pedalboard, or other use? what you need it for may help.

It’s for a customers custom cable order. He want some of those goofy fabric braided cables with flat 90’s on each end. I was telling him about these neat new flat plugs and he wants them. If I can’t find, I’ll just use some of the flat switchcraft ones....no big deal.
At this point it’s more of a sanity check for me. Very frustrating to not remember shit like this as I’m getting older.

Yeah, I think we all aged 5 years since January.
