MixMasters Podcast - PSA

(1/1)

Steve Litcher:
Hi,

Like 99.98% of us in the biz, I started a podcast during this pandemic/down-time. :-)

I've been interviewing and talking with various FOH engineers from around the world, hosting long-form, 1-on-1 discussions with them about their histories, their resumes, and various mixing approaches/gear selection/tour prep, etc..

DISCLAIMER: I'm not a professional host/interviewer and I have a horrible Wiscaahhhhnsin accent. :-) But I've been lucky enough to score some great guests. If you'd like to learn more about some phenomenal FOH engineers, give it a listen. There are no advertisements or sponsors - it's just a labor of love.

Some guests that have been on:

Ken "Pooch" Van Druten
Drew Thornton (Billie Eilish FOH)
Erik Rogers (Godsmack, St Asonia FOH)
Nick Rucker (Steel Panther FOH)
Alex Markides (Killswitch Engage, Periphery, Suicidal Tendencies)
Ashton Parsons (Too many bands to list; but has worked with everyone from 5th Harmony to Black Label Society)
Bryan Campbell (Breaking Benjamin)
Brian Hardaswick (In This Moment)
Michael Bangs (Allen & Heath tour manager; Tom Petty (monitors), etc)
Travis Wade (Dance Gavin Dance, Suicidal Tendencies, etc)
...and a bunch more

I've got 18 episodes up so far, with 4-5 more in the can and ready to publish.

Hope you enjoy, and again, I say "um" and "ahh" a lot, so apologies in advance.
