Stage Research offer
« on: March 18, 2020, 02:55:26 pm »

Stage Research is offering a great kindness to the community:

Quote
Dear Theatre Friends,

During this time of idle theaters and postponed projects, Stage Research is offering any of our software programs for free. Use it for what you want - learn something new, coordinate frequencies, create that highly complex sound design, upgrade your personal equipment to the latest version of our software or upgrade your professional equipment at the shop, in school, or your theatre.

For free. It's on us. Hoping to ease the challenges we are all dealing with at this time.

There is no deadline other than sometime after theatre resumes.

Order from our store the normal way and use this code: SUPPORTARTS to get your 100% discount.

Stay safe.

Great time to learn something new.
More "tools in the toolbox" make you more employable.

i've been using this tool for over 10 years now, has done over 1000+ shows easily. we had some bugs/issues the first years (mainly programming) but has always proven rock-solid.

The funny thing about Qlab...I bought a Pro Audio+video license last summer when they had their 53% off sale. I don't even have an Apple computer to run it on. Just sitting in my account until such time as I do get one.  :P

Thought about downloading an SFX license to play with over the next couple months to refamiliarize myself with it since it's been 13 years since I've used it.

Also, Figure 53 offers the basic 2 channel version of QLab for free all the time, which works the same, except that you don't get as many outputs and can't use mic inputs, audio effects, and a few other limitations.
